Ok so i went to firestone in CR today and had my AC checked out becuase its gonna be warm and i want some cold air! HAHA anyways they told me that the pervious person had maybe put in some kind of sealent and they couldnt vacume out the old stuff because it would mess up thier equiptment. Anywho i was charged only half of the diganostic fee (so only paid $20). I thought scince it is pressurized that i could just get a bottle with the guage on it and fill it myself. Which plug to i fill though! Thanks i think its the one with the arrow!!??? Thanks for the help
I am pretty sure the do-it-yourself cans will only plug into the high side.. well only one of the sides anyways...
do not plug into the cap with the H on it. Back behind the intercooler is the port. It should have an L on it. Or it's the one next to your wiper tank. Use that one. Good to go.
O2 WRX - behind intercooler - L on cap What/who's engine is in the pic? It needs a little TLC Is that for the 05 STi?
That's what I was thinking...he has an STi according to his signature. That's why I said behind the intercooler...and the cap should have an "L" on it. That's all you really need to know. Trying to pressurize the High-Pressure Hose, is only going to lead to disaster...that is, if the R134-A can can even hook up to the High-Pressure Hose.
The mystery remains!! I was just going to update my Sig. Its for my 96 Leg L. So scince its not the STi then the one with the arrow will work?? Thanks for the help guys! Always very very appreciated!
I'm gonna' go with yes. The one with the arrow. The hose connecting to the condensor will be the high pressure hose, and you don't want to connect to that one.
