quick question about offset?

    will 17x7 with a offset of 42 rub on my fender? drive a my97 legacy GT. thanks

    What size tires are you going to run and what springs do you have installed (how much drop)?

    agx with h&r's about 1 inch drop,
    size tires are probably 205/40/17

    They shouldn't rub with that tire size. You could probably even go to a 215 without any rubbing issues.

    Choung with those tires your good on fender clearance. When i was running my Konig Rated R's (the white ones) they had 215/45/17s and my rear panels just barely clears them. They only rubbed when there was massive weight in the rear of my car.

    just wondering if the offset would rub on the fender, that's all? i remember that the lowest was like 40 or something so just need a confirmation.
