The Road Racing Scholarships program (formerly known as the Graduate Runoffs) is an annual event held in December. Just like the Red Bull Driver Search program, this is a racing sponsorship. It lets you prove your racing ability to a panel of judges and win a free season of formula car racing in the SCCA Formula Russell Championship. There is no better, easier, or more cost effective way to start a racing career. To compete you must be either: A graduate of the Techniques of Racing or Advanced Racing Course, or A graduate of an equivalent course, or Hold a current SCCA Competition License. Entrants that are not graduates of our program will need to verify their experience in writing prior to being accepted, and are required to participate in a practice day to become accustomed to the Formula Russell cars. In addition, you must have less than one year of formal car racing experience. Course Highlights Day long competition featuring two morning sessions and two afternoon sessions. You receive coaching during the morning sessions. You show your skills in the afternoon sessions. Racing scholarships awarded to individuals who display exceptional driving skill and potential to become professional drivers. The driver judged to be the best in multiple categories wins a free season in the SCCA Formula Russell Championship.
