The other week I removed the radiator cap from the top reservoir to check fluids everywhere and put it back on. after this i have been noticing that if i take a somewhat tight corner under boost i will have coolant flow out and start smoking off of the exhaust manifold. I checked to make sure it was tight then I Checked the cap itself and found that the rubber seal was almost torn in two.

So question is do i get an upgraded radiator cap or do i just buy another stock one? Will the increase in coolant pressure give me any positive benefits? I am currently stock, but will be stage 2 by the end of the month hopefully.

Buy a stock one. Extra high pressure in there should only occur when the car is overheating.

I have the stock caps sitting in my garage if you want them. Maybe 15,000 mile on the car when they came off.
