    Yo.

in some preseason sitting in class thinking: what are the rules in regards to tuning in Stock class is it allowed, or worth it with out modding the down pipe?. I gave the rules a quick read and didn't come up with anything solid in regards to aftermarket tuning

if you look at the prepared rules it says
which leads me to believe you cannot change the factory tune in the stock class otherwise this detail would not be spelled out in prepared

If the rules don't specifically allow it, it is not allowed. Short answer is ECU mods are not allowed in stock.

Looking at the rules I believe any modification to the "boost regulation system" (aka tuned) will put you in PA. Modding the Dp will also put you in PA

Mark, did they ever decide whether or not they were going to do the street prepared class?

Much like those already mentioned, I understood the rulebook to say that my STI with DP and tune would have to be in PA. Just like in AutoX I will be in BSP.

Street Modified is still being developed. I anticipate it will be launched mid year and not be allowed to affect the championships.

I'm hijacking this thread cause it relates.

I'm wondering if I can still run PA with a cut up bumper. Usually body modifications bump you up quite a bit, but I cut my bumper up to prevent snow and ice from accumulating and to plow less snow in the winter for daily driving. I don't think it would give me any advantage like wider fenders or doing any aero stuff would. Thanks.

btw: i wouldn't just cut up a good bumper, this one was already quite damaged and I have an extra one, but I'm selling it to rexNeffect since it doesn't match the rest of my body.

What you have done to the bumper would move you to Mod for RallyCross.
