On my newly acquired 95 Legacy L wagon ever so randomly the ABS light comes on and stays on until I restart the car. I haven't noticed any recurring noises or behavior of the car.

Anyone have any thoughts what this could be and if this is a problem that other cars of this MY face?

i get this too sometimes...very rarely though. It wouldn't be brake fluid, that would trip the "brake" light. It always goes away when i restart too...

I've noticed it if I really accelerate harder than usual, especially if the ground is gravel or dirt.

You could take a volt ohm meter and pin out each sensor and see if one is not giving a signal to the module.

I also have noticed that from about 0-20mph the speedo jumps around every now and then? Sounds like it could be the speed sensor for both symptoms.

Anyone know where to locate the speed sensor on a 95 Legacy L wagon??
