Those rods are strong and heeeavvvy, what is the reason the engine was disassembled? Nothing wrong with the rods/bearings/pistons/crank?
Seems odd to tear apart a solid setup.
Also, are the wiseco pistons made for the B25 heads or D25? What is the compression ratio?

Got any More pictures of the heads? Also, what's the reason that you pulled these parts at 3k?

i can upload pics later this evening. i dont know a whole lot about the engine to be honest. it came with the new STi i purchased. engine was disassembled because of 3 small cracks in the cylinder walls. and i believe the pistons were for b25 heads, and also not sure what compression ratio was. pistons are 6598m100. sorry i dont know much info about the engine. the guy i purchased it from didnt give me details. but crank rods and pistons are in excellent condition. look brand new, rod bearings are still good. (although in all the engines ive built i would never reuse bearings)

Good to know. Makes sense the cylinder walls cracked because everyone says if you have to go up to 100mm pistons you need to sleeve the block. Stock sleeves get too thin when you bore the holes to 100mm.

    No cams with the heads?

I feel like I should just start buying engine parts and build my own engine so I can just swap it into my car when my engine goes.:D

I also put on about 3000 miles a month so it won't be long before I hit 250000.

The heads would make fine boat anchors.
