located near St. Cloud. can ship at buyers expense. pm me for more details or pics. i work alot so ill try to respond as often as i can. possibly willing to trade items for 20g turbo in good condition or cobb ap (sub001) items: 2.5 rotating assembly: oem Subaru nitride crank pauter x beam rods wiseco 100mm pistons (this setup held 789awhp on alcohol from a shop down south, only 3k miles) looking to get 1500 obo, possibly willing separate if there's enough interest in them. b25 heads, stock valves in excellent condition. unfortunately i do not have cam caps or valve covers. ill say 175 obo. turboXs utec, used for the above rotating assembly, not sure what theyre worth anymore so ill say 150 obo knock off HKS ssqv 4, 80 obo.
Those rods are strong and heeeavvvy, what is the reason the engine was disassembled? Nothing wrong with the rods/bearings/pistons/crank? Seems odd to tear apart a solid setup. Also, are the wiseco pistons made for the B25 heads or D25? What is the compression ratio?
i can upload pics later this evening. i dont know a whole lot about the engine to be honest. it came with the new STi i purchased. engine was disassembled because of 3 small cracks in the cylinder walls. and i believe the pistons were for b25 heads, and also not sure what compression ratio was. pistons are 6598m100. sorry i dont know much info about the engine. the guy i purchased it from didnt give me details. but crank rods and pistons are in excellent condition. look brand new, rod bearings are still good. (although in all the engines ive built i would never reuse bearings)
Good to know. Makes sense the cylinder walls cracked because everyone says if you have to go up to 100mm pistons you need to sleeve the block. Stock sleeves get too thin when you bore the holes to 100mm. No cams with the heads?
and thats alot of power to be pushing through an unsleeved block lol. unfortanatly no cams, caps, avcs, or valve covers.
I feel like I should just start buying engine parts and build my own engine so I can just swap it into my car when my engine goes.
