must be just the engine from japan....

yea, MPFI non-turbo EA82. extremely rare (only '86s). read: expensive to repair, junk. instead of just cheap junk like other EA82s.

someone buy it then pay me to put a real motor in it!!

Yes, if the steering wheel doesn't scream 80s design I don't really know what does.

    Nope

Both mine are turbo's and no rust other then alittle where the AWD got sandblasted out west on the trails. The fwd is nicer.

Hey Chux, I've got one more EA82 turbo motor to try in the fwd car and it that doesnt go then I'm coming to you. My awd one has been back on the road for 3 months now but it's
stuck in the barn for the winter. wasnt thinking when I rented out space to acouple guys and now I cant get it out. I left the fwd out so I could try this other motor. Wanted to have this one running for my sons first car. He turns 15 in March so I have a little time yet.

Did Lynn sell her XT6 yet? That would be a nice car to get your hands on.

    Subaru XT

You know what I had that is a little rare these days, When I was sixteen one of my first cars was an XT Turbo, 4wd it had the push button pneumatic suspension very nice. But this GL certainly is not from Japan, if it was that easy to get JDM cars here I would have a car lot full of 92-01 STis. If you know someone who can ship over a STI 2000 model I will pay them 2000 cash just for arranging it!
