Rattles?

So I have two very annoying rattles. One I found last night driving around, seems to be a clunking coming from the right rear but not sure. The other is my mirror, i just installed my sub and amp from my last car and the only thing that bugs me is the mirror. It sounds like it's gonna fall apart. Any ideas for either? The mirror is the auto-dim and compass mirror.

 

suspension- right rear- I've seen many bad struts at that mileage. We can check anytime after work.

 

car? mods? when does the clunking happen, stopping, turning, slowing down, all the time?

Maybe the pervoius driver didnt tighten something when putting stock back in... Just buy a cheap NON compass mirror mines quiet

 

It happens over rough bumps.

 

I dont think its because of the compass factor, it just seems to rattle to much.

Yeah I did but none of them turned out I have to take some more. How did you know thats where that was taken?

Does anyone have any dash rattles problems. i have 05 STi and it took 5-6 appointments to fix mine( from the side window defrost vents) and now there is one in the center of dash. Morries BP did a great job of customer service, but Subaru told them that its there inability to fix it thats the problem. It also only happens when the dash is hot, in the summer or when the defrost is on in the winter.

 

I got some dash rattles too, you just kinda have to start taking stuff apart and adding tape/dynamat or moving and tightening stuff until you find or fix them

 

I tell you what Chet, I'll take swap you mirrors! Problem solved
