Re introduction

So finally after looking at all kinds of Subaru's I ended up with a 1997 Impreza OBS with a 4EAT and 150K miles.
Havent taken pictures as it is running wheelcaps

Though its a 2.2 it feels much faster than the 02 Forester S it replaced.

Part hunting has already started.

What are you looking to do with your car? I assume some new wheels are in order?

 

Pfft. Hubcaps are where its at.

I've got caps on my 07 WRX. (in the winter anyway)

I got a 4EAT on purpose. This is a daily driver that the wife will also be using.

As of now there are two things on priority.

1.>There is some loud cold start ticking/Slapping noise..so maybe do a valve clearance adjustment to see if it goes away.
2.> There is humming noise coming from the rear, so maybe a shot wheel bearing. Deciding between doing up the wheel bearing or a rear disc conversion.

Later on, front brakes and all around KYB-GR2's with stock springs. That's probably it.
