Or something similar. LOL A friend of mine found this great deal and I figure I'd pass this along for all the drivers on the forum who might be looking for something with better contact and feedback from the paddles. Men's Pilotie Spyder and Prototipo Driving shoes $29.97-$39.97. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/sear...Default.asp+KW+Box&s=SEARCH&a=search&k=piloti
Unless they replenished their stock I was there about 3 weeks ago and the pickings were pretty slim. If they replenished I'm going back and getting the blue ones.
I thought about dropping by the store, but if thats the case, which I kinda figured I'll just place my order online. That way I know for sure I'll get my shoes and not waste my time.
I have the Spyder...one of the comfiest driving shoes I've owned and most people think they're just some cool Eurotrash hipster boot.
For some reason, I really like wide soled skate shoes for my heel and toe mayhem. Plus, it is really hard to find specialty shoes to accommodate triple E wide feet. :eek3:
I still have my gray Sparco Rallys from my codriving days somewhere. Probably the same place I hid my fire suit. Granted they cost nearly 10 times what those are selling for....which is all the more reason why I need to find what I did with them!
do you also have webbs? thats a really wide foot. I ordered shoes and recieved them in 2 days. Awesome price and they are comfortable, the yellow sole gets really dirty, thats the only bad thing.
Yup. Back in high school I had to go down to the Riedell factory in Redwing to get goalie skates that actually fit my feet.
AGREED! These: Remind me too much of this: Which in turn is reminiscent of this: which makes me want to: Thanks for ruining driving shoes for me mnsubaru!
/\I have a pair of those. They look just like that. LOL, I pose in them in the house just like this\/ Mmmgiggity.
For those of us that have snowshoe feet pumas suck ass and are very uncomfortable. These are wide enough to be comfy. If you go to the store you have to go to the back and have them pull them from the warehouse, there are none on the shelves. Weird setup. fwiw I bought a pair of the ugly red ones:ugh: and they run just slightly large about a half size.
I just got mine last Thursday. They look pretty nice and after two days of breaking them in they fit and feel really comfortable. I had second thoughts at first but I figured its a huge savings compaired to the normal asking price. I'm glad I got a pair. I'm usually driving cars on the track so I'll get good milage out of them. I'm considering getting another pair, but maybe after the next event at BIR which is at the end of the month. I have a few other driving/racing shoes but these are much better. Some are too soft, and some are too hard. These are more like in between. I got the green ones. Green means = GO!
I just order two more pairs as gifts and I have some discount codes for anyone else interested, pm me.
