Wow, so much love in this thread IMHO, save the money and put it towards performance upgrades or audio or something. I've never seen one in person, but seems usless unless you regularly road race/auto x your car. ...Or put that money toward respraying that trunk lid I have once I get it to you Either way, it's your car...do what YOU want to do to it. Don't do what OTHERS think looks good. If it makes you happy, go for it!
You know, we all have the God-given right to make poor choices in life. OP, Douche up and rice out your car if you want. It's your car, you can bolt all of the tacky crap you want to it. Just don't solicit opinions unless you're looking for abuse.
I don't disagree. I've been around here for a long time and know how MNSubaru works. Ricey mods with questionable performance value tend to be looked down upon. MNSubaru is, for the most part, a very practical bunch. Function over form. Taste is subjective, of course, so do what you want. Just be prepared to hear plenty of dissenting opinions if your 'taste' differs with the MNSubaru norm.
I must agree with Sneefy. I just accept that I get flamed for most things I bring up, but then again I don't mind the lolz that usually follows
If we didn't have people to poke fun at we would all just be sitting around talking about boyholes. But seriously, before doing a pointless aesthetic mod think about how it will look in a few years and what you could otherwise spend the money on (tires, brakes, fluids, bodywork, paint repair). Just doing something to be different and stand out doesn't usually work out in the long run. For instance, this guy was probably SUPER cool and "different" back in the day but it looks like garbage now... Or this or this or this
That Honda Skyline reminds me ... There is a phony silver Skyline GTR running around the cities here. I saw it one day on 35w, but he exited before I could get a pic of it. He has the Skyline lettering on the trunk and everything.
Necer seen a phony skyline around here, but there's a silver R33 skyline, a blue and silver r33, and at least one dark grey r32.
It was a Nissan, but I saw it last year and don't remember the model. I want to say it was an older Altima or Maxima, cuz as I remember it was a sedan. He has the Skyline lettering on the trunk, and GTR emblems ... And it is LHD lol. He exited as I was fumbling with my phone to snap a pic unfortunately.
How have I not read this thread yet?! OP on a serious note, 90% of what I work on and replace are the bottom sides of bumpers and lips. The majority of the vehicles are $40-$80k cars under 5 years old that are knicked, scratched, and gouged to he**. Personally if I had an $80k car I would like to think I'd take better care of it than how they look when they roll in my shop, but nonetheless we live in MN. Between potholes, speedbumps, cats in the road, and winter, that diffuser is going to be chewed up in less than a year. On a less serious note you should probably get that thing, bitchez love things. You'll need every bit of aerodynamics on your side to get away from all the pu**y that you're going to have thrown at you with those super ballin mods .
Lmao thank you for your advice, on a less serious note you still did not read the thread I asked if anybody bought one so I could come check it out
Oh to be 19 and obnoxious again, relish it while you can . And I did read the part of your thread asking if anyone had this diffuser as did just about everyone else. The thread would have been pretty pointless if over 50 people commented NO, no f'king way, or wtf, rather than everyone weighing in on your potential purchase. Regardless if these were the type of answers you were looking for or not, you made a public comment on the internet, people will respond with brash opinions. If you can't handle those opinions and want to act your age then I suggest you go back to your mom's basement. If you want to be treated like a mature and valuable member of this community I suggest you knock off the "I know you are but what am I" sh!t.
edit* Ok that wasn't very Christian of me to say. But seriously if you're going to get butthurt maybe don't open doors that will get you flamed.
mega uggo. please get these bull**** ideas out of your head. stancing a vehicle just looks ****ing dumb. Why not spend money on performance upgrades?
Who's stancing their car!?? As far as performance upgrades it's a perfect daily until I go big turbo.
Haha as much as I would like to blow my savings on it, it's just not a smart choice this year unfortunately
The attitude. Ditch the attitude, stop thinking mods or upgrades are good and tasteful just because they were expensive, and yeah cut out the whiny attitude.
