http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19069 They still have warranty and I could bring them to you next friday!!!! Shoot me a PM with an offer. I would really like to sell them so I can pay for my winter tires.
toyo proxes 4's are some of the best all seasons i've seen but then again theyre more of a middle atlantic tire where you get only occasional snow. Traction TAs are ok I guess, problem with all seasons up here is a lot of the better for spring, summer and fall aren't great on snow.
I agree Zak, it always seems you get an all season that is biased one way or the other. The TA's did great last year for me when there was 1.5 feet of snow on the ground, never got stuck or had problems with traction but could still cruise a clover leave at 40 when the roads were clear and dry...
bought for winters but i really need the money for school rite now...they are stock size...205/55/16...here's a link to michelin and tirerack site...letting go for $420....you'll be saving $90+....brand new...extra-virgin tread never touched...mouted and balanced all ready to go on stock rims but i'm willing to take off if you want them...let me know... http://www.michelinman.com/tires/ul...ort/pilot-exalto-as/#sizes-and-specifications http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...partnum=055HR6EXAS&fromCompare1=yes&place=112
A deal with buy 3 get 4th tire FREE just started today at PEPBOYS auto so you might wanna check them out. I'm getting a set for my subie on Wednesday. My total cost is under $410 installed, balanced, and tire mountings w/lifetime warrenty. Mine are Hankook Ventus V4 ES H-speed Rated. I dont know how am I going to survive the Winter with these.
Heck we're all trying to work out how you will survive all those full boost launches yet alone winter....
haha, I'm pretty sure I wont get headaches in the winter with these tires(on snow). i just need to worry about stopping.
+1 I have about 60k on mine right now. I am over due to replace them. I love the traction on these tires. it cant compare with a tire like a Azenis for dry traction but still do very well. also I have yet to loose traction in the rain and i am on the wear bars. These tires are finicky on snow/ice. when new they work great. after you have about 25-30k on them then i wouldnt be using them in the winter anymore. They must have a harder compound as the tread wears. they are still good on pavement (dirt/gravel too), not not so much snow.
^ can you get a deal on the G009 through the dealership? I think i might get another set for next year (in a different size)
yeah. I want to get some larger ones something 245/45/r17 ish. they get kinda pricey when they get that big. ;-)
