Remote Starts

    Thought I would throw up a thread to see how much interest their would be in autostarts. I am usually able to get a pretty good deal if I can buy a bunch at a time. They would be CompuStar auto starts, those are the only ones I will put in a manual transmission. So let me know if you'd be interested, and I can get some prices.

    BTW: the auto starts also have built in turbo timers

    Is this something that would eliminate the need for the subaru key fob? I am interested...

    yes this would eliminate the need for factory key fob. the CompuStar remote will have lock/unlock, and start buttons,
    , and yes, I wont leave out the 4 and 5eats, im not a monster.;)

    Yes, models and price installed would be nice... including the immobilizer key box that's needed and any other relay.. etc etc etc...

    This is what I have figured out right now. Since the majority of the cars are Impreza's of one type or another, I'll use that for an example. The cost for a CompuStar 2W900FM-AS (remote start w/security) installed in a manual transmission would be about $325 give or take. Will have to find out specifics in the next few days to find my exact cost on things and what not.

    He lives in st. cloud but he can do the install pretty much any where there is an outlet. and if it is cold out there should be heat too.

    What about something a little higher up like the P2W9000FM-AS or P2WSS-AS? A couple of the features on the P2W900FMR would be nice.

    I can get pretty much any model you want, just when i have to order only one or two of a particular model, the price does go up a little.

    well how about you make a list of what models there are.. what say a 5 person buy of each model would be.. INSTALLED... then we can try to get you some business.. if not I will sit back and watch you piss in the wind waiting for commitments of MNSUBARU the hand RAise National Forum ;)
