I just replaced my clutch with an Exede stock replacement clutch kit. Now the clutch doesnt want to disengauge all the way. Is this normal untill the clutch is broken in? I had my flywheel turned too. I also have alread bleed my clutch slave cylinder. Any ideas???????
what do you mean "Now the clutch doesnt want to disengauge all the way"? street kit?does it go in gear?
It wont fully dissengauge. When I push the clutch in it wont let me put in gear. Also once its in first gear with the clutch to the floor you can feel it trying to grab.
I've had that problem when I did the WRX clutch the second time. I couldn't figure out what it was. it was like....7% engaging with the clutch fully pressed.
have you done a tranny fluid change? mine kind of did that too when i use mobile 1 synthetic fluid after i replace my clutch...and switch over to "uncle scotty blend" goes in gears very smoothly....
Ok I fixed it. I actully adjusted the clutch peddel under the dash. It has a treaded rod going the master. I gave it two full turns and now the problem is gone.
Well the problem came back. So I said screw it and pulled the trans cause I could hear the throw out bearing making noise. Got the trany out and fount the snap ring that holds the bearing to the pressure plate had broken in half. So I warrentied the who clutch kit out. Got it all put back together and the car is 100 percent perfect. Any one need a clutch done on there car. I am getting good at doing them.
