I just replaced my stock shifter bushings. After only 15,000 miles they were getting loose. Kartboy front and rear shifter mount bushings made a HUGE difference. I recommend this to everyone with a manual transmission. This was a little fun jack stands though.

Time to move onto the next mod.... hehehe.

Here are some photos. I put the orignal bushings in some of the shots. Everyone should do at least a little of the work themselves on their cars (IMO) and this is a very easy thing to do. My next thing is a turbo inlet pipe. This will be interesting being I have to remove the intake to install it. Going to make sure I have a little backup just in case on the inlet pipe.

This was the first thing I did to my car. Definately a cheap and effective improvement.

Yea I have the rest of the bushings for the upper part of the linkage (can be seen above the grey front shifter mounts). The problem is I would need to drop the tranny a little to get the bolts out to replace them. On jack stands there really was not room to do this so the last few bushing will wait until I can get the car on a lift with a tranny jack.
