Hey guys. I 'm going to be replacing my clutch here and was wondering whether this list of parts is all i need to get the job done. I wont be personally doing this myself but i have a friend who has done this several times but never in a subaru. he deals with dragsters and rockcrawlers n such but anyways, he made a list of parts for me to get.

    Throwout bearing
Diaphram Clutch (What else is available/ better)
    Clutch alignment tool
Pilot Bearing (or Pilot Buching, which do i get and why, doe it matter)
    Tranny Fluid
    Flywheel bolts

Also if the rear main is replaceable when the tranny is out, he said to pick up a new rear main.

Is there anything else that you guys suggest i get to get this done right, words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

Oh, i almost forgot, i drive a 94 impreza FWD sedan.

    thanks guys

good idea to do the rear oil seal.

hey as long as the tranny is out you could do kartboy shifter bushing and short throw lol.

    have fun!

If you can grab a 2.2L flywheel, you can put on the Exedy Stg 1 street clutch onto yours. We put on a ACT pressurep late with organic disc on a 1.8L AWD tranny. We had to swap out the 1.8L flywheel for a 2.2/2.5L one.
