I honestly don't think there'll be any high hp supras or Rx7's.

I also find it quite ironic that the "ricekiller" meet is being run by someone driving an import :ugh: .

same feeling here. I've watched a few vids of theirs and all I hear is bench-racing and BS. I wish I had the disposable income to throw at an already expensive car and act like I know everything about vehicles and racing. They act like they're professional drivers/mechanics/etc just because they drive an expensive car with modifications they paid someone else to put on their car.

That IMO is ricier than most cars I see that people have put their own knowledge and hard work into.

well, what you said is a given in my book. I was referring to people who have ungodly expensive cars yet still have the ricer traits. i.e. bench racing, horrible tastes in style, trying to act like they know what they're talking about, etc.

If half the guys that I see on that site didn't have the money that they do, they'd be the ones driving a POS with a wing and decals and acting like its fast4r.

yeah I wasnt dis-agreeing with you.. just adding my take.. as I am an import personally ha ha ha and am not a fan of domestics... I do like some of them but usually hte name doesnt account for the price and lack of quality on american built cars... (generally)

actually yes i see it all the time in person, he has a full wald body kit, a cwest fron, two stock fronts with lips, two different rears, a whole ****load of stuff, and he got the car out of the paint booth about 3 weeks ago, hes also about to drop in a supra six speed, hes droppin money on t-70 or something turbo from a huge single supra, hes got a full built gte block and he runs it on 11psi most the time to be safe, hes got a setting for 22psi that puts down the real power, also his fmic has the jdm pie-cut welds for the bends on all the piping, hes gonna run an external fuel pump or his monster triple walbro drop in rack, im not saying hes the best by any means but hes fun and nice and very fast, and check out his other cars in the past if you think hes full of it, fully built 240sx, turbo civic, vw r32,on and on...... don't trash him just yet, i dont care if you do, but actually run the damn car or talk to him in person, hes the nicest kid in the world and he just gets happy about cars:)

I've had a few classes with him at St. Thomas too and hung out with him on countless occassions. I also hooked him and a buddy up with phones and whatnot from AT&T. I considered him a friend for a few years up until recently. To make it short I paid for something he said he'd pay me back for and he's never paid up and hasn't answered a phone call or text since.

From what I've heard, most of his vehicles are funded by his parents. I give him the benefit of the doubt, but almost everyone that knows him isn't a big fan of his and claims he hasn't spent a dime of his own. He does work at EB Games, so he's not entirely dependant on his rents.

I still like the kid, don't get me wrong. I've just had a sour taste in my mouth about the recent events. The money isn't the issue since its a very small amount, but more the logic that he hasn't offered to pay up or even answer a call/text of mine after I've been nothing but a good friend to him.
