Anyone running this exhaust? Thinking of purchasing but really don't wanna slappa da bass till I hear what I'm buying in person and could possibly ride in the car? Opinions wanted as well. I'm really not interested in a droning system or something loud. Going for stealthy performance. Thanks in advance!

Need to know what year and body style (sedan/hatch) you have. They sound vastly different.

08+ WRX sedan preferably. I just watched your YouTube video . So that system had a gnarly drone with your car?

Yeah. The quad tip hatch version is pretty loud. Sedan is quieter. Quad tips sound different than single or dual.

So if I understand this correctly the DP is bolted to stock midpipe which is booted to q300 catback? Yes I would love to hear it. Saturday during the day would be best for me. I'm in Eagan.

I'd run dual tips. Do you think the sound level is different, the tone or both?

Doesn't the stock mid restrict the whole system? What diameter is the shorty at the bottom flange?

Pm me your phone number to setup meeting on sat?

Well I just had mine instaled three weeks ago on a 09 Sedan and loved the sound. Q300 duel tip is loud when it's cold but then perfect when it warms up. Believe me I researched them all. I would let you listen but I 'am down and out at the moment.

Did you get catback only or full turboback? If so which DP did you go with?

Dirty D I really want to hear your setup!! I'd go catless but I'm afraid it would be louder then what I'm looking for.

Catted and catless are the same volume and make the same power. Catless is cheaper. Catted makes more grass grow or something.

I have the Q300 with a Catless Invidia DP. The only thing I don't like about not having the cat is when running pump gas it stinks like a bitch. That problem can be solved by running E85 and then, as my daughter stated, it smells like baked Cheeto's.

I was afraid of the smell as well. Is it obnoxious or just noticeable? I don't want my dd car to smell like ass because of the DP I can manage that on my own I'll spend the extra cash and get Catted.

Pulled the trigger! Bought a catted invidia DP from Brent in Eden Prairie yesterday and placed my order with Kronos Performance for the Perrin catback and gaskets! Should have everything by Thursday and hopefully on the car by the end of the weekend, I'm so excited!!!

I just installed the Q300 on my 2012 STI. It's bolted to the factory downpipe. I just need my exhaust tips aligned. I'm in SE MN. Let me know if you want to hear.
