Just some curious questions any body have a Right hand drive vehicle? Have any body drive one b4? Is it fun or worse then left hand drive? I wonder how are the pedals and shift gears are like, comforable?
1. No 2. yes...in europa 3. Fun...i was only 12 years old 4. shift gears, pedal are the same, but as far I know the differences are the blinker/wiper and the ignition, blinker on the left side wiper switch/ ignition on the right side, , AND you driving on the right hand side...that's different...
The blinkers are on the left side of the steering column anyway... It's fun when it's something new to do. You can get used to it pretty quickly.
No, he's saying the blinker/wiper/ignition position on rhd are opposite that of lhd. Driving in Japan threw me for a loop the first time... not gonna lie... I was scurred. Reaching the wrong way for the shifter, bogging each shift bc I had to stop to think which way to shift (even tho the shift pattern is the same), having to check both lanes of trffic when making a right onto a 2-way, and trying to keep the car on a narrow-ass road to avoid dumping it into a rice patty... got used to it after a while, but it wan't intuitive to me at all. I can imagine driving rhd in the US would be a pain in the ass. Ask your mail carrier about that.
i actually sat in a rhd integra this tuesday, just hanging out in it and playing around was enough to make me feel silly. there is no way it can be better on the roads then lhd in the states cause your blind spots are guna be different from anybody else's and you will have to change pretty much all of your driving habits. im sure you would be fine after a while, but no doubt that its guna feel pretty weird getting started.
the jeep wrangler x has an option for right hand drive. I know people who own one and there have been a few at local dealers. Take one for a test drive. As for " Is it fun or worse then left hand drive?" Just takes getting used to. nothing special about it.
1. Yes, two of them. 2. On numerous occasions aka the past 3 years. 3. It's no more or less fun, just different. It sucks for parking garages and drive thrus. 4. They are the same as a LHD car.
I know someone. My Uncle does. I think a 1987 Supra Imported from I don't know where. He says the driving experience is not fun though.
usually only in Europe... in Australia everything is pretty much the same only you are on the other side and you change gears with your left hand... grew up driving that way... after a while it's all the same.. over here I just had to make sure I kept oncoming traffic down the left side of the car and I was ok...
like I said I was 12 years old, driving a mini copper....I wasn't sure...but when I was in england, riding the old school taxi, I can swore the ignition was on the ride side....
in the case of JDM, ignition switch is still on the same side, the right. The turn signals and wiper stalks are switched. This is very obvious to anyone that sees me driving during the next couple weeks when I clean the dry glass when changing lanes.
yes you were right....I just check out the GTI-R pulsar at RS motors. The intstrumental are close ressemble....
