Looking for some opinions on wheels. Car is a 02 WRB Bug eye. I am going black so if the picture is not in black its just a generic picture. And I don't want to spend 850 on a set of rims then get them powder coated. I also looked into Rota Boost but they are the same price as the first one I listed.
Cost is about 250-270 for a set of wheels. I would have to get the name of the place from Dream again. Also the top one does not need to be powder coated.
Of the 3 I say the Rotas. Also, about the edgeracing thing. Same thing happened to me with the 5zigens. They had a sale online ($140 or) so I ordered wheels/tires. I called after not receiving them a week later and they told me the wheels were out of stock. I ended up getting them a week later at the same price... well actually they charged me the same bundle price, but the invoice showed the wheels at normal price and the tires were discounted by about 70% to make up the difference lol.
Well the first ones are out of stock. I can only get them now with a black stripe and I don't want that. Subydude is checking on some black Rota Boosts for me.
Don't these only come in a 17x7 +42ish offset in 5x100? I remember looking at these once. Iirc they were in the 18lb range also.
I'll look around for you. I remember talking to a vendor last year about these for the wrx and they could do ~990 shipped. That's about what the Rota's would come out to after PCing and shipping.

Alright I ordered the Rota Boost rims in black. They look just like the first ones. I got them for 700 shipped and that came with black lugs too. On a side note the Rims that everyone likes still come in black but have the red stripe. Also grey and bronze.
