Are these RallyX type events, or what?

Edit: From the pics, it looks like autocross.

They should do one at MAM or Road America.

I went to the Subaru Challenge down here a couple years ago shortly after moving down. It's auto-x work in different heats depending on your car and mods. It doesn't exactly work like SCCA classing either. When your heat isn't up you are on cone duty. There were prizes for fastest in class, fastest in model line, best time overall, and then some random raffle prizes. There were some sweet raffle prizes to rival the best times prizes (aside from the little plaque they got) like $500 Subaru Bucks, free oil changes, and some Cobb parts. The race prepped dealership car got spanked by a GC 2.5RS which took best time overall. That car was an autocross beast and proof that turbocharging your car doesn't mean everything.

Funny story about that day too. We had to show up to Texas Motor Speedway before 7am to start checking in. It was like 50 degrees outside but I knew it would warm up quick so I just wore a polo and threw a sweatshirt in the car just in case I got chilly. When I showed up people were huddled in tents draping sleeping bags over themselves to keep warm. I strolled in wearing a short-sleeved shirt and they all just stared at me. I didn't figure this out until someone pointed it out after asking if I was from Alaska
