Back at the helmet subject, does everyone here who is planning to go have a helmet that they're bringing with them? My full-face helmet is not legal (just says [DOT] on the back), but they didn't check it last year when 97+ Snell helmets were required, too.
yeah my old helmet was a snell 95 and I'm still trying to get a hold of my cuzin to borrow his motorcycle helmet.

Please check your helmet and if you have a Snell 95 you will need to replace it prior to competing in any competition at any NHRA sanctioned racetrack. The Snell 95 helmets are expired and no exceptions will be made for use of this model of helmet if you are running 13.99 and quicker in the 1/4 mile or 8.59 in the 1/8th mile. Acceptable helmets are the Snell K-98, Snell 2000 and Snell 2005. Please also remind your fellow racers to check their helmets as well!! Thanks.
Nuke, what I'm trying to say is that even though they required Snell 95+ helmets last year (2006), they didn't even check to see what type of helmet the racers used at inspection. ...as long as the racers had helmets they were allowed to race. Maybe they're just saying that to beat the law?

Race for trophies in our 1/2 second index classes. Win 2 rounds and win a trophy!! Race in our Quick 16 Class for money. The payout is $100/Win; $50/RU.
