Sup Sup erbody! So watching the news the other night and we have had rain the last 2 mornings down here, and they had a pic of a 2000 camry that slid off the road when it rained and the thing was just totaled to all hell!!! and then the CHP officer comes on and recommends that when it rains that no one try to exceed 45 mph do to the slippery conditions! I miss MN where when it rains you tail gate the poor bastard in front of you cuz he's only doing 75!!!!

Never understood why people will do 70 when it's dry and 80 when it's raining.

I like to think of it as job security...I started at Bloomington today and about 2 minutes after the rain started pouring down we got 15 calls for a pretty serious accident on 35W. Be careful out there guys....

just imagine what that officer would say if they got 6" of snow. he would prlly tell everyone to stay at home and not brave the elements.

speaking of heavy rain, i almost ran through the median yesterday night on my way home from brooklyn park. exit 94 to lexington going north. pitch black with rain, head lights were worthless from 10ft+ away. made a left turn and BAM! median right in my face, luckily braked in time and swurved around the median to make my left turn. damn rain!

I was talking to Tim the other day on the phone. He was talking about the rain and drivers in San Diego. It's funny, when I lived there, I used to say, "If you were to hide on the side of the freeway with a supersoaker and spray a little water on the windshield of a passing car...you would almost definately cause a 10 car pile up." San Diego drivers act like they have never seen rain before. A little water falls from the sky and they all collectively cut the steering wheel to the left 90 degrees and press the gas pedal. The ones that survive this synchronized dance of fools go home to tell their families how they narrowly avoided death on the freeway.

But you can't beat California interstates on dry summer days ;)
