Welcome to another year of fund raising for The American Cancer Society, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Background Since 2008, I have been helping the girls at SubieGirls.com with fund raising for The American Cancer Society (ACS), including the sales of "Scoobies for Boobies" t-shirts. Scoobies for Boobies is a team of fund raisers (organized by SubieGirls.com) that are raising awareness of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and are fund raising for the ACS each year. Because the people at SubieGirls.com have a common interest in Subarus (Scoobies) and want to help fight breast cancer, they came up with the team name "Scoobies for Boobies". Many of the members know someone or are directly related to someone who has been significantly affected by breast cancer. There are also some whom have lost close friends and/or family members due to breast cancer. Raising funds for the ACS is a great way to help provide means for cancer research and for the prevention of cancer, nationwide. How to contribute The fund raising this year is done similar to last year. As a Subaru enthusiast and supporter during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there are two ways you can contribute to team Scoobies for Boobies: 1) Donate directly to The American Cancer Society 2) Purchase a 2010 Scoobies for Boobies t-shirt or other merchandise Many people choose to contribute in both ways. Any amount of contribution can make a difference with those fighting cancer, people you don't know, your friends, your family and maybe even yourself. Lance Armstrong once said, "if you haven't been diagnosed with cancer, you are a cancer survivor." Donating to The American Cancer Society Donations are being accepted on behalf of MNSubaru and team Scoobies for Boobies. 100% of what you donate goes to The American Cancer Socitey. Any and all donations are tax deductible! There are instructions to guide you through the payment process. Donations can be received via check, any major credit card or PayPal. Your name and the amount you donate will be displayed on the in the fundraiser honor roll. During the donation process, there is a box where you can type in "Anonymous" if you do not wish to disclose who you are. There is also a check box to not disclose the amount you donate, if you wish. Please read the instructions carefully during the donation process. How to get "MNSubaru.com" and logo on the back of the 2010 Scoobies for Boobies t-shirt Together, if we raise at least $150 in donations (not including the purchase of any t-shirts), then we will have "MNSubaru.com" printed on the back of the 2010 Scoobies for Boobies t-shirt. If we can raise $300, then we can get our logo and website name printed on the back of the t-shirt! Please note that if we do not reach the $150 mark, we will get nothing on the t-shirt, but your money still goes to the American Cancer Society. In order for your donation to count towards our goal, you must use the link provided above. Donations must be received by October 31st! Purchase of the 2010 Scoobies for Boobies t-shirt Unlike last year, there will be no group buy for the t-shirts and I will not be going to Massachusetts to sort, fold and haul the t-shirts back to Minnesota, haha. Don't worry, this is a good thing! This year the t-shirt sales and shipping are being handled by SubieMerch.com, a Subaru-inspired apparel and merchandise company. Each t-shirt costs $20 and is available in many Men's and Women's sizes (uncommon sizes may cost extra). Shipping is extra and the more you order, the less it is per t-shirt. You may click on the banner below and it will take you to SubieMerch.com where you can follow their automated checkout process. All orders must be placed by October 31st! Please remember that the t-shirt proceeds go to The American Cancer Society and these proceeds do not contribute toward our fund raising goal on our MNSubaru ACS team webpage. After October 31st, all qualified sponsers (fund raising teams) will be added to the back of the t-shirt, then printed and shipped out directly to you. Again, we need at least $150 in direct donations to get "MNSubaru.com" printed on the back; and t-shirt sales do not count toward our donation goal. I'll be in for at least one shirt and a donaton of course. If we can get at least 30 people to donate just $10 directly to the ACS site, we can get the MNSubaru.com logo on the back! Last year we were able to get the website address, but fell short for the logo.

The extra $1.99 above the $20.00 is to cover the minimum shipping charge. Shipping is added to the $20.00 price during checkout. For example, shipping to Bloomington is an extra $0.01, for a total of $22.00. We will email the printing company to find out. I will let you know as soon as I know.
