Scooby Salvaging

through a complex connection i have gained access to a bunch of old subarus (dirst cheap or maybe free) my dads, friends, dad has a field in alexandria which contains alot of old (70-?) subies. when my dad asked how many there are he asked "you mean 5 - 10?) his friends responds "more like 20 - 30"
my dads firends dad owns th cars, but hes getting old and his son is getting worried his is gonna be stuck with a field of subies he cant get rid of soon.
anyway some time soon we are gonna go out there and write down vins, and models. then decide what we want. all of the cars ran when they were parked in the field (hopefully they wil run when we take um out too). but the main plan is to lift um with a front end loader onto a trailer, and move out.

i posted this up to let you guys w/ older subies or those who want older subies to start thingk ong what you need, and i will see what i can find. also i may need some help movign the subie around.

I wanna help as well. Ahh.... nothing like moving old steel. reminds me of those summer days i spent using the torch cutting up tons and tons of old scrap. This will be fun ( minus the cool torch of course)

 

might be looking for a commuter car actually, preferably smallish with decent gas mileage... either way, I'm willing to help out, so keep us posted

i dont suppose any of you have car trailer to take home your finds? it would be helpful (when/if) this happens to have more then 1 trailer. (thats IF i can even get one).

If we're talking whole cars...RX, Brat, XT6...in that order, I'll only be able to take one...probably... so bepending on selection...

otherwise, a clean wagon and LSD would be good
