I have a question for all the service techs reading this, is it frowned upon to smoke in a customers car? Second when a tech starts working on one car is it normal to start on another car before the first ones finished? I have had my car in the "shop" for very simple work, i.e. no transmission or tough fix, since wednsday night(I had a appointment) and they havent even started on it, is that normal. They gave me a 07 Legacy Outback for free until my car is done so I am not that upset, but it is annoying to be with out my baby. Usually this palce is amazing especially the service manager and one of the parts guys there, but the rest of the palce could use some work.

yes its most def frowned upon! what service dept are we talking about here? mine? (mtk) if you want top notch service, ask for brian, nick, or ben, and ask for courtney as a service advisor, everything meshes then.

I'm assuming this is Brooklyn Park Morries. Since you are in Coon Rapids. Honestly, it is hard to give constructive criticism if you don't say at least the organization's name. That is why you have vendor reviews, so they can take the information and make things better. You've stated your case, which is great, but if you never say exactly who it was, they will probably never really know about it and things wont change. And you know the guy that did that stuff isn't going to own up and say he did it.

It started out as a question about why it took 3 days too even look at my car let alone fix it, if I made a appointment for a certain time, and why some dip s**t is smoking in my car. They gave me a free rental so my gripe is not as strong as it would be. Brian at parts and Jeff the service manager are awesome. I wanted all of you to share in the pain of not having the second love of my life parked out side for me to go look at when ever I miss it

I can't imagine that would be acceptable anywhere... Did you actually see the guy smoking in your car? If a tech who smokes even touches your car, depending how recently they last lit up, that smell can linger for awhile, esp. to a non-smoker.

Never had that happen at any of the three Suby dealers where I've had service done though.

I've already shown this to Jeff, I'm sure he'll get in touch with you. I didn't even realize your car was still here.

No, Chuck did. He needed the space in the shop and he was here when I left. Don't worry, it spent the night inside :)

If it was getting pulled around, it might've been a service runner instead of a tech. Either way, it's a no-no and it'll get taken care of.

I have no idea. With the new management it's probably spankings from Ray.

I dont know if anyone cares, but my car is finished and ready to go. Like I stated earlier, Jeff the service manager is top notch, he will probally kill me for saying this but if you want A- plus work done at Morries BP talk to him first because thats what youll get. He is awesome. and Brian Shorten is OK too.:) j/k. As far as the smoking in my car, maybe that guy will die from lung cancer.:eek3:
