I hear everyone uses fishing wire. That's what I used to de-badge my WRX along with a hair dryer. Just wondering if there is any other ways you guys have tried it or other ways it will be faster. I want to get this done in under 2 hours. >_<

LOL yea i say heat gun..i did mine in the summer when it was 100 so no prob their but sense it is winter and freezing i say heat gun/credit card and fishing line then finish with goo gone..
ikay, done thinking. Ali gets an R Steph gets SUBAU and Josh can has the bigger STi emblem, me likes the small one. it's cute.
I will give you my old badging to make fridge magnets out of, if I can have them back when they are magnets???
now heres what i did seemed to work really well...give my car key to buddy....he takes to dealership he works at as a detailer....uses chemicals they have and walah my car is shaved! hahahahahah
It took me about 10 minutes with a heat gun and some spiderwire. may take alittle longer to get all the goo off.
I don't has heat gun, I has hair dryer, even though I hardly have hair..Anyone wanna trade? Hello kitty hairdryer for heat gun.
^ a hair dryer will work fine, it will just take alittle longer to heat it up. You can actually do this w/o heat but it is harder to get the goo off. you could always plug the hair dryer into a 220 outlet and it would get the job done....
Ebaymotors.com I think they sell for like 9 bucks... lol i may or may not have a badz one... Search STI Badge
i coulds possibly hook ya up with my buddy that did mine...he also did a complete detail on my car for free...
It's okay, I don't let too many people drive my car, unless it's Fobia, the Subaru people at the dealership, and well sadly, myself.
if you want help at all, i can help...it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, then its just getting it down where the damn goo is gone
you gotta rub it with your fingers, i roll it... then you hit it with some compound and polish and wala!
