Shift Knob Compatibility Question

Can shift knobs produced for the 2008-2009 model cars be used on my 2007 WRX? Anyone know if the thread size is different?

I put my Kartboy knob from my 02 on the 08.

 

Oh, as long as it's not a 6pd knob, it will fit.
