Door jams that is, lol. I could really use a few hands full of gray Scotchbrite pads to get my jams prepped, otherwise this thing might not be done before the snow falls. I will supply lots of beer, grilled food, and a place to sleep if necessary. And of course, the abrasives for the job. I will have the car stripped before then, so no worries on that front. I just need some hands to help save me 20 hours of tedious work. Depending on the takers, I can vary my beer supply by quantity and quality. Also, I'm open to grillables. I like to do brats and BBQ chicken. So.... When: August 1st. After 4 PM Where: Shakopee. What: Get-together/ sanding session Why: Food and beer. Mild expectations. PM for more details....
hmm. I doubt I could come down for such and event, but I'd love to help if it wasn't a 4hour/ $70 trip haha
Don't worry about it. It will be more of a shindig than anything. The scuffing might not end up taking that long.
Sweet. Sanding has a much lower emphasis compared to beer and food. And solving world problems, of course.
shakopee is a drive for me and I was already planning on doing cars and coffee so I'd need to find something to do in the southburbs for a few hours in between lol. and I'd have the rally car with lol
I'll be here all day, so time is really irrelevant. And I have parking in back for 2.5 cars, so a trailer and truck is not a problem. Can I prod some more? lol
I can even make arrangements for garage parking at the end of the night if you want. My car only takes up half the garage, as required for living here during the summer.
I am helping my dad on his classic car in the morning, but I will try to swing by. but we will be busy the next few weeks with lots of packing and moving prep.
Yeah, I kinda figured given your current predicament. Don't worry about it. You've got a lot of your own fish to fry. Don't feel obligated or anything guys. I'll be in the garage either way. I do realise it is summer and people have a lot of stuff going on.
