hey guys, I was on the phone today with the guy that has my block. He went over the list of what he did, it all made sense to me but when he said the block was torque platted i drew a blank. Any of you know for sure what that is. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Matt or Russ im sure you know!

So they bored out your block. Basically what they do is bolt a plate to the top of the block where the head would bolt on. They do that to simulate the head being on, so that when they bore out the cylinders they are true. A good machine show will do this, That process just makes sure the bore's are going to be good when the head gets bolted down.
