So i haven't used my car for a few weeks and today when i get in I notice the side mirrors both have a huge crack going all the way up and down. Has this ever happened to anyone else. The only thing that I could think it could be was the cold, but I have been parking my car in the same place every winter for 3 winters. Also what's the cheapest way to fix the problem, new mirrors or new glass?
new glass is pretty easy. i paid $20 for one piece from the dealership. warm up the plastic with a heat gun around probably 60-75% of the perimeter, then pop the glass in.
