wow some cool pics....i should go sledding i live across form a hill and one block from one of the best hills in the city.
I like your lights gridlocked boss left office to go home....weenie even owns a wrx with snow tires. oh well, looks like I need to leave 10 minutes once he's out of the garage:laugh::biggrin:
lol. my day just got shorter. "Afternoon, We will be closing at 4:00 pm today due the snow storm. Drive safely Peggy"
And 20 minutes later the webcam is over half covered, it's coming down pretty fast now. I'll probably leave work an hour later than usual, to give traffic a chance to clear out. I'll probably still get home at the same time vs leaving at regular time.
this is my backdrop all day as i work from home View attachment 7583 this is why i have to work from home(rwd ftl) View attachment 7584 i really need to get the subaru done.
i actually left this morning to get ship some orders but that was only a couple miles of driving....almost got stuck once or twice. argh to bad we didnt get any pics of that from yesterday..that would have been awesome. side note josh- went to the shop later last night with molly's car and parked in the circle(plows had already been through) and the assface neighbor called the cops and i got a ticket. our next door neighbor came over and told me...he said he hates the guy too.
I am so glad my afternoon instructor called off class. I drove home at noon and had no issues. It started really snowing after I got home. According to my driveway we got between 3 and 4 inches today.
Poor 3rd gear barely got used Christ... so last night I left work (St. Paul) at 4:30; got home (Brooklyn Park) at 7:10! So ,sure it's great to have AWD, but hell; it was 2 miles an hour on I-94w. I felt like Mario Andretti this a.m. when I was able to crank her up to 3rd gear. :woot: Does anyone else's knees hate them today?
^^Two words... Back roads. Although the backroads have lights and slower speeds, your knees will thank you!
McAli, welcome to the forum. It took my wife 2 hours to get from downtown to Eden Praire last night. She's pregnant, and the only room on the bus was standing room - so she was hating it. Luckily, some lady gave her a seat 1/2 way home. I made it from Chaska to St. Boni in about 20 minutes. I love my commute. -Ted
It took me two hours yesterday to get from 62 and 169 to 394 and 169 at 2:00 in the afternoon. I saw third gear maybe once and was stoked! Those are the days driving in heels isn't fun.
Well, you and my husband have something in common! It took him about 20 min. to get home from Golden Valley last night too. He was all smiles when I got home at 7:10! He did have the driveway all snow-blowed and a glass of wine ready for me though... so I had to check my jealous grr face. :hsugh:
