Browsing on Google for cheap snow tires, I have one question. What do you guys think of these? "Champiro Winter Carefully designed sipes Provide good grip in braking and acceleration, increase side force, enhancing cornering ability and traction . Four straight circumferential grooves Excellent side grip on snow and slush and ensure efficient protection against aquaplanning . Special Winter compound with cap and base structure .Excellent grip on icy and wet road, good driving stability at higher speed. Continuous, Zig-zag type centre rib Provide good steering response" $29.99 per tire...I think i can afford that for my WRX instead of the Blizzaks LM22 which are like $127 per tire...I'm thinking of spending $29-40 a tire.
I don't know anything about Champiro tires so can't give you any input but if it's 30 bux per tire... why not get it. Only way to find out how it stack up with other winter tires is run a back to back test. I don't mind giving you something to compare it with. Again, there will be more snow coming... it's Minnesota we're talking about here
