snow tires?

    it would be black 16x6.5 steelies with 205/55/16 firestone winterforce's

    a quick look on tirerack shows $56ea for the steelies. You can find a set of used subaru 16" alloys for less than $200. The ONLY advantage to steelies is the price. Alloys are lighter and stronger.

    other than that, winterforces are a great tire. Pretty hard to get even remotely similar performance for that price.

    ^^^ are you sure those are 5-100?? Mazdas are 5-114.3 with a high offset. The rims will work but he will need 5-100 so if the rims are dual drill they should work
