I dont know how many of you guys snowboard but I would really like to get a group together and plan a little meet somewhere for a good day of boarding and talking about subys. I am from WI and I usually just go to mt. Lax or Tyrol Basion. Where do you guys go? Maybe we can plan somthing I will have a month of January of school so maybe some time then. Let me know if anyone would be interested.
I have a season pass at Afton Alps (why is it called alps?) so I'm there all the time. I love Granite Peak, so if you guys went there I'm sure I would meet you there. I'm pretty much down for going anywhere, it's just one more excuse to go riding.
How about some place a little closer. Have any of you been to welch village? It is a really nice place. and wouldnt be to back of a drive for any of us.
Tyrol Basin? Sweet. Do they still do that halfpipe competition every summer there? I remember seeing an article about it back in the day in Transworld Snowboarding.
Yeah I am pretty sure they still do. I dont think they are going to build a pipe this year though because they never get it done till like half way through the season and no one really uses it. I think they are going to just add more jumps. If anyone wants to meet me there I will go every tuesday in january for there 10 doller days.

(spelling is wrong im sure) how the hell does know one know what troll is? do all you guys only carve down rus or somthing? i have been big into snowboarding for 10 years + and every one who was any thing road at troll or wild (thats wild mountin for all the kiddys that dont know) and powder ridge for the people that lived in st. cloud. and troll is in dresser wi! witch is why i suggested it. sorry for babbling................
Well lets pick a place and a date in january and let get this going! I vote Welch because I have been there and I know it is pretty nice and not to bad of a drive for me.
they wondered wtf you were talking about cause troll on a forum means someone who comes on just to be a jerk etc etc and adds nothing of importance to the forum or life in general...
I think we need to just settle on a date. Some will make it some wont. I am willing to drive so I could give a ride if needed.
Well monday, tuesdays, or wed work really well for me but if the only time you guys can do it on the weeknds I can take of a day of work if need be.
Most weekdays would work for me, the only days I for sure can't go are Thursdays and Saturdays. If you guys just set a date we'll see who can go and who can't. Nothing is ever perfect.
