    Public service announcment

Be sure not to use loc-tite on your binding hardware. Is starts a chemical reaction that will turn your plastic pieces brittle. I just learned this today. This is why I need to replace my mounting discs.

Use plumbing tape instead, or wait for the loc-tite to dry before installing.

    Thank You

Damn most manufacturers use loctite on their hardware from the factory. Clean it off?

the loc-tite is already dry on the factory hardware. just avoid it from touching any plastic parts

^^^ I would say never use lock-tight. We were always against it when we worked at the shop. It is a good way to mess up the inlets in your board.

I gotta step in here....I've been boarding for 20+ years and professionally working on snowboards for 6.

You can use loctite on mounting bolts and on certain bolts/nuts and set screws of the bindings.

Yes you should allow the loctite to dry somewhat before putting the binding parts together.

The only loctite to use on snowboard applications is BLUE.

Yeah, I knew about only using blue. I just didnt think of how loctite would make the plastic brittle. It looks crazy.

I think they stop selling at like 2am ish, so you can ride free for a hour if you'd like haha. I know the guy at the gate usually takes off around 1am. If your thinking of coming out you'll be able to buy one anytime for the most part Im sure.

Anyone know of hotel/motels near by?

Im unsure if Im still going or not, of course majority of my friends are backing out due to "its so cold and far." same people that brag to others from out of state about "yea we are outside when its -20 in hoodies." Kind of dumb, so Im debating just going to buck hill tomorrow (cept I just saw lift tickets are 40 BUCKS!!!! Rape and robbery imo). So I'll let you guys know, I might ask one of my close buddies and just go ride with him, sounds more fun anyways.

That sounds like Hyland. It always snaps on the first few days. Last year someone mid season cut it with a knife for some reason. Lots of douche bags there, and almost always packed unless weekdays during the day.
