Snowwwww

ok this thread isnt about natural snow. this is about me and my attempt to make my own. this morning I made an internal nucleation snow gun/wand/maker. i dont have my phone with me so I fail as this being in the photo gallery but pics will come. I just got in from out side seeing if my nozzle is getting the correct atomization, which it is so thats nice. my big compressor has too much pressure so the water wont flow, so I must pick up a connector so I can put my regulator on it. my small compressor worked well and kept it from spitting too much but it isnt very efficent as the tank is small and its older than I am. So no snow tonight as the humidity was too high as was the temp. ill post pics tomorrow of the snow maker and should be making snow on friday. take that mother nature edit here are the pics

jk, i have actually heard of ppl doing this, it would be cool if it works

 

im pretty confident it will, i just have to make sure the temp,humidity, and wet bulb temp is right and the nozzle working correctly.

 

do yo have a hill at ur house or something

 

not a big one but i have a flat bar rail so i dont need much of a hill

 

nice i got a couple of boards for sale i used for street ridin

 

yea street is pre sweet, i dont get out and do much street jibbing as i would like to but o well

 

dayum man. its so fun. so many snapped boards and bruised bodys... what can beat that

 

yea shredding is possibly one of the greatest things, pain is a side affect of progression, i just made that up what do ya think haha

cool. my friend is in school to be an engineer. so he build a tow rope last winter for the hill at his house.

yea it was. he's been wanting to make a snow maker for a while though. maybe this winter he will.

 

its not too difficult it depends on what type you want to make.

 

yea we'll see what he does. he's always building things.

You should set this snow maker up next to a parking lot, for driving fun.

well tonight into the morning it was cold enough to make snow, drank some johnny w and went at it, i was impressed on how much i made for such a small capacity device. here are some pix.

Nate, i honestly NEVER thought you capable of doing this... or your high level or air brush skills. but i guess thats what life in ghost town does to you! its better then the nightly rituals that happened up here. lol cant wait to go shred spirit. hopefully we dont lose any bets again up there this year

snow making time!!!! woot temp and humidity are perfect.

 

its happening!!! makin snow perfect temp and a new air line and so far ive made a 1/4 inch in a half hour.
