This is a Subaru auto dimming/compass mirror from a 2002 WRX.

do you need to route any wires for these?

 

40.00 is way too low. Retail new is 165.00.

As far as I know, all post 2002 Subarus are pre-wired for this mirror. the connector is hiding above the headliner next to the map light housing.

Subarus and all Subaru parts are meant to be dirty! Cleaning the parts will diminish the value!

 

Is there any wiring needed for these?

Also cleaning it up might help cause right now it looks like its been splattered with paint.

 

The wiring to install in any 2002 or later Subaru is included. There is not any paint on the mirror, just dust and/or dirt.

 

how hard is it to wire?

 

its built in to the car.
you just have to remove the map light, push the plug down through the front of the headliner and plug it into the mirror.
Done.

 

When I bought my auto dim mirror from Chong, I didn't get the pigtail cable. I ended up making my own cable. Not easy!

I have the cable for this mirror. Depending on the sale price, I could be talked into installing the mirror.

 

For a used auto dimming mirror with no warranty whatsoever, my offer of $40 still stands.

Otherwise, I'd buy a new one....but for now, I could care less.
