has anyone ever ran into this? Once and awhile while letting the clutch out in 1st gear (from a stop) I get a sqweak from the clutch. I think it's the flywheel? anyone?

I don't have any shudder and I never drop the clutch.

I have a resurfaced flywheel and southbend clutch with about 12K on it.

just started after the last big snow storm we had a few weeks ago.

hmmm....remember the dead kid from the grudge? there ya go....

just a soft sqweak that lasts about .5 seconds while the clutch disc is hitting the flywheel.

    scorched maybe?

Dave, I noticed it on your car the other day when I went for lunch. at first it sounded like a distant subaru horn honk. Everytime I heard it I would look around to see who honked. But it is very faint..

Mine does it. I'm told that it's the throw out bearing. At least that's what they say on IWSTI.
