Are you planning on cooking your brakes a lot or just looking for better feel? If your running at the track prob want to look at pads too. I've run 600 for a while during track days. Never a problem. Going with Super Blue ATE this year as my order got screwed up. It works too great too. I've used it at Road America which is very hard on brakes. They are about the same quality and price. I've only used Goodridge lines. Make sure you have them installed right. The guy I bought my car from had installed them twisted causing a couple lines to rub a little. I was driving around town and my foot went to the floor from a hole in a line where it rubbed through. Thank god I wasn't at the track. And if you do track, don't just look at your lines, feel them too. I couldn't see where my line had worn. Most of these items are all the same price or very close. I usually buy mine from Myles at Racecomp or Adam at Z1auto.com. JT

Ya, wait until you discover that your mods are meant to be replaced.... EVERY TIME YOU GO TO THE @#$$@!# TRACK. Damn, I think about what I've spent in tires and pads alone and what I could have done to my car with more permanent mods. My wife still thinks I'm crazy for buying all those bald tires (Hoosiers ). Still, I can't stop smiling for days after. It's worth it.
So i ordered the stainless brakelines on tuesday from SOJDM who are in LA and they arrived TODAY! So needless to say i'm very impressed with their customer service. They do a great job i deffinitly recommend them, however, their selection is pretty limited.
since we're on this topic, how does the ATF blue effect the brake system? i talked to fuji about it and he said that because it is made out of silicone, it decreases the life of the brake system in long term. it should only be used in racing events and then flushed afterwards. any one have opinions on this?
"Ate has been the OE supplier for Porsche since the beginning. ATE Super Blue brake fluid is a popular choice amongst track drivers. It is non-silicone based. Well suited for racing as well as high performance street use. Super blue is simply the same high performance DOT4 fluid as Type 200, but with blue dye added for easier flushing and brake fluid changes. Type 200 is amber in color. Minimal decrease of boiling point due to excellent water locking properties. Non-foaming when filling and bleeding the brake system. Excellent corrosion protection due to selected additives. High safety tolerance against steam bubbles. Standards conformed to: FMVSS No. 116 - DOT4 and DOT3 SAE J1703 DIN/ISO 4925 Boiling point: at least 280°C / 535°F (50°C over DOT4) Wet boiling point: 200°C / 392°F (45°C over DOT4)"
I totally agree. ATE is also OE for BMW as well. I use it on all my cars. The dye is an awsome idea. Now if only Subaru could start using it as OE.
