When you upgrade a wrx to an sti 6sp do u have to change the hubs? I wasnt sure b/c i thought they have different splins?
^ i believe you are correct. yes that should be right, I remember Bikerboy having issues keeping his RS brakes on the swapped car. He endend up getting SVX backing plates to keep the stock brakes. since the SVX and STi have pretty much teh same read end IIRC
Not neccssarily. Unless you really want to use the STi R180 diff. Even then, you could possibly have some hybrid axels put together so you can keep your WRX knuckles.
^^^^ very true but a pain in the ass... you are better of hust finding the knuckles... I did the swap in my car.... unless you cant find the STI knuckles....dont bother with the hybrid stuff. pain in the ass.
Anything STi Version 3-6. Let it be STi Type R/RA so you can have LOTS of fun, or just regular STi tranny and you'll just have a VLSD in the center. All the STi Type R/RA's have the DCCD.
How much is a set up running curly was saying that if i did the five speed i might only have to do the rear diff and possibly axel shafts
