I am using the HPS on the STi. Definitely less dusting than stock and I have been happy with their performance. Get some annoying squeeks from time to time, but that is not unexpected with perf. pads. I haven't used anything else on the STi. I am also a big fan of Porterfield (albeit a bit spendy), I run the R4 and R4S on the RS for track/autox respectively.

Got mine during the brake group buy last spring. I get the Porterfields from PDM Racing.

Call Deversified (frozenrotors) and tell they you are part of MNSubaru to get the discount. Also search for the last brake gb to find the current group buy prices.

They do dust, but I am not aware of a decent pad that doesn't... It isn't an unreasonable amount.

+1 on the Hawk HPS they work great but they are noisy as hell which is par for the course.

I have Hawk HPS on my car, and they work great. I haven't noticed any undue noises at all. I did put new RB slotted rotors on at the same time, which may play into it.

I have stoptech slotted rotors and Axxis pads. I love them!
I had some dusting but not a lot!
