    ypipe is the same length?

    Is a new scoop recommended since the STI IC is larger?

    I've heard of people having to massage the y-pipes a bit, but I never had an issue.
    Technically, a new scoop is a good idea, but is not very effective without a correct splitter between the scoop and intercooler. You'll want to do both if you upgrade your scoop.
