    How much horsepower can the stock wrx, sti, 2.5rs block hold with out blowing up?

    Depends on the tune. But if I were going to put numbers on things with moderate longevity in mind I'd say...

    2.5 RS = 250whp
    2.0 WRX = 325whp
    2.5 STi = 400whp

    Anything above those amounts will likely be pushing it.

    i would even say <250 for the rs because they are really really weak but other than that i think readymix hit it on the head

    Impossible to answer. Cuz with a crappy tune, at stock horsepower levels you can blow them up. Hell, running race gas in a 100% stock car and stock tune will blow it up. With a good tune and everything is good working order, you can make tons of power. There is not going to be a number that the motor will blow up.

    No, he just consistently mistakes me for one of his honda boy-racer drag-tard buddies that actually cares what the street racer kiddies think about my car's current situation. And so he trolls my posts to see if I'll care. And I don't.

    Also, Russ nailed it with the comment about tuning. I thought I had mentioned that, but not to the extent Russ did. I made my predictions based on a good tune.
