    Hey guys,

This question is specifically for the 02 Impreza WRX stock radio, but they are probably similar across models I'm guessing...

I want to hook my iPod up to the stock radio. I have a friend that uses the old school cassette tape adapter -> headphone jack. I'm more interested in that than an FM transmitter, hate the quality of those things. But, I'd be even more interested in some sort of Aux input in the back of the stock radio, haven't gotten a chance to look behind it. Anyone know if there is such a thing on these radios?

Or, does anyone have any sweet stock radio -> iPod (any mp3 player really) setups they'd like to share?

    Thanks!

    Probably west of you.
I did the install one an 02 WRX and an 04 Forester.
    Honestly, it couldn't be easier.
The directions that come with the thing are great... Or, maybe they don't come printed anymore, but the guy has a PDF on his site.

    I love it.

Seems pretty pricey when you could buy a cheap deck for a little more than that.

Yup. Less then an hour to pull it out, install and put back in. One of the best purchases I've made to date. FM modulators suck.
