I was looking at tires for my sister's car. I'm looking at Potenza G 009 tires. One sister put them on her Alero and was really happy. Another sister put them on her Passat today and I expect her to be happy with them as well. And now my other little sister is getting them on her Galant tonight. Anyways, I was glancing at the reviews and look what is at the bottom of the list.

The cost difference for a 195/65/15 (from the Pilot Exalto to the Potenza G 009) is $94 vs $64. The don't have the RE92 in that size, but if they did, it would be around $84. The Potenza G 099 wins here... three times.

I would not expect any different. They are not really that bad of a tire, it's just that there are a lot better options out there.

    I disagree.
The RE92s are just about useless on dry or wet pavement. At least on my LGT, you can feel them going long before the car should go. Just no grip. And they really have issues with wet grip. And they're bad at telling where their limit is, they seem to just go.
As for snow, I never used them in snow, but have heard they suck.
