I've got this annoying soundlike the title says. It appears to be coming from the up/dp/turbo area. It is barely noticeble when the car is cold, and gets louder when it gets warm. it's not mechanical for sure, cause I can cause it by rocking a non-running car. What I'd really like is a second set of ears to listen to it, cause maybe someone else has allready had this problem and can offer an easy fix...
After I put gt spec headers on they rubber on the subframe, I don't know if this cold be the same type of thing. I just had it cut out a bit and put sti motor mounts in and it solved the problem
I had the same problem. I was missing a bolt on the heatshield to my stock DP. As a temporary fix I put a bolt in there, the permanent fix is an invidia DP, the only side effect is a :biggrin: for you and a :yumyum: for everybody else.
I already have an Invidia up/dp/tbe, it seems like something is softening/expanding with heat thus allowing movement/rubbing.
