As the title says, I'm looking to install some new swift sport springs and new kybs on my 06 WRX. My mechanic back hOme in WI says he do it by id have to wait a little while to see him and than pay him a but more than I'd like. I know he'll do great work for me but but I'd rather do it locally if someone knows what they r doing and wants to help a fellow suby owner out- i'd love to do it with someone qualified enough to do the job and save a little money. That being said, of course I'll throw some cash to anyone who would take the time to do this with me and supply some food and beers of course as well! I live in elk river and have big garage to do work out of (no spring compressor) but am happy to make a drive somewhere in the metro area. Anyone interested or know of a reputable place that's reasonable with their prices? Thanks in advancE!

I had Dave Goodman (Scuba Steve) do some swifts for me last month, very pleased with the work and the price was hard to beat.

edit: I've been meaning to post a review anyway, here's his "sales" thread:

Thanks, I pm'd him! Anyone else I should hit up?

Also, another thought- should I pick up camber bolts for both the f&r to maintain aggressive alignment settings? I'm looking to stay where I am now after the strut and spring install (-1.5 f and -2.5 r - i think that's where i'm at in the rear) - aka - as aggressively aligned as I can be on a DD without wearing out tires.

Dan (turbo_turtle) has a great reputation here. I haven't used him personally but I hear all good things about his work. If you go with him you better hurry up, he's probably moving to Florida this month.

I would hit up Jeff Forss (http://www.thealignmentguy.com) for alignment questions. He does a lot of the local autox guys.
